Zab was coming off a loss, but Mayweather still beat him on his best night. De la Hoya was coming off an impressive win over Mayorga, the champ. Even though I dislike Floyd, it is impossible to take anything from him. He beat three hall of fame level fighters in a row.

He beat 3 hall of fame fighters in Gatti, Baldomir, Delahoya??? Delahoya is a shoe in, and MAYBE Gatti due to his entertaing/crowd pleasing style, But Baldomir????? You must be smoking crack!

Well Baldomir is already in the WBHOF, de la Hoya is a shoe in, and Gatti, as you said, becuase of being such a crowd pleaser.

It doesn't really matter if Oscar was prime/elite, or coming off a loss... He was obviously a legitimate opponent and many (perhaps the majority) thought he'd beat Mayweather, and maybe knock him out in doing so.

Its so funny how you basically predicted what the fangirls would do, told them so, and they did it anyway
