Here's a question, name 1 fighter that is 30 years old or younger that has a better resumé than Floyd Mayweather.
How about Jermain Taylor. Now I am not a Taylor fan and I don't agree with all his wins or opposition but Jermaine by far has a better resume and has fought more elite competition that Floyd. It kills me to say that because Im not a Taylor fan but it is true, but like I said I don't agree with all the decisions he has gotten.

Right, it doesn't matter what you think. The fact is Mayweather beat Castillo twice and DLH on the OFFICIAL scorecards...

I am not a big Floyd fan, but his last three fights were against top level compitition I do admit. Baldomir was 35 years old with 9 losses and only 13 knock outs in 43 wins, but he was given a good chance to beat Mayweather. It didn't happen. Zab was coming off a loss, but Mayweather still beat him on his best night. De la Hoya was coming off an impressive win over Mayorga, the champ. Even though I dislike Floyd, it is impossible to take anything from him. He beat three hall of fame level fighters in a row.

Whether or not you want to argue this technicality, are you going to say that when Zab Judah fought Floyd Mayweather, he wasn't an elite/prime fighter at his very, very best?

I can't see many people thinking Judah won that fight.

              People just don't get it...

It's ok to be upset and dislike Floyd because he isn't chosing the fights we always want to see.... but I'm pretty sure there was plenty of people more than happy with his decision to fight ODLH, myself included. The outcome and performance of the fight might not've been what we wanted to see.... but oh well.

The very fact that people spend so much time trying to discredit him only further proves how good he is because so many people attempt to tear him down.

More people around here might suck Floyd's ****; but the measure that a handful of posters each day attempt to take him down is what is laughable. He is the #1 fighter (despite being 'retired' atm) and for anybody who disagree simply means they probably shouldn't be allowed to talk about boxing.

People could talk about how they're angry that he keeps looking for big $ fights, and wants a rematch with ODLH instead of fighting the likes of Cotto (or even Hatton for ammusement on my part) but they instead simply try to say he's not as good as he truly is simply because they dislike him.

I think he's a D-bag and a disgrace to boxing in many ways... but that doesn't stop him from being #1.

PS: I'm not Diego; and that hurt my feelings.

Semantics. People want to see fighters but boxers win.
