i said one could make an argument that his resume is better than joe's.

glen johnson , thomas tate , charles brewer , mads larsen , robin reid , silvio branco , anthony mundine and the great tocker pudwill...... (some of those names are familiar to calzaghe fans. some of those names joe didn't fight)
His resume isn't "better", even Sven knows he doesn't deserve those W's on his resume, half those fighters lost to corruptness.

It's all very well to have a resume a mile long - if you're the beneficiary of obviously biased judging it aint worth the paper it's written on.

biased or not. bad judging or not.

you can argue sven's 34-0 record is better than joe's 44-0 before his 2 wins over hopkins and roy.

and before you think i'm out of my mind...... there's a reason all the boxing mags ranked sven higher than joe for years.

But Witter could be there or thereabouts soon.

You will get people on this forum saying that David Haye is the best, im just preparing you for that in advance.
Whatever happened to this self righteous ****?.

I can't speak for you but I make up my mind on what I see with my own eyes and not what I read in a magazine.

And my eyes told me Ottke required crooked judges to defeat guys Calzaghe beat fair and square.

so now you're assuming i don't watch fights because i don't agree with you?

the reason i brought up the magazine rankings is because when i say sven was ranked higher than joe everyone looked at me like i'm crazy.

last i heard boxing writers know a thing or two about watching boxing. i don't think they would rank sven over joe for 3-4 years just to **** about.

i know joe is the popular choice but i have my own.

ricky hatton has accomplished as much if not more than what joe has in a far shorter length of time.

ricky doesn't get any credit for beating a 35 yr. old tszyu but joe's ass gets all this credit and ATG status for beating a 43 yr. old hopkins and a 40 yr. old roy?

                  **** that.

there's only one ricky hatton! joe ain't no ricky hatton.......overrated slag.

You don't half talk **** but you are a cornish sheep-shagger.
Calzaghe is an ass but beating a prime 28 year old Kessler when he was 36 is worth more than Hatton's tszyu win. Hatton beat a shot Tszyu and Collazo beat him but was robbed by the judges. Apart from that and losing to Mayweather he's fought 40 bums.

If you're going to put Joe Calzaghe's name down it should be on the list of choices for the G.O.A.T
