The 80's was an incredibly weak period for heavyweights, possibly on par with today's division.

Unless you think Spinks was a worthy opponent, or an old ass larry holmes who was passed his prime. Actually, I think most heavyweight eras get knocked for being "weak eras".

They can't all be like the 70s or early to mid 90s.
