Im not buying that .. Rahman just ran thru a bunch of bums at the time and Vitali was scared to fight him .. And he would of beat rahman easy..

Unless Vitali has a number of memorable fights vs. quality opponents in his 2nd career, I'd say 'legacy' isn't a deserving word. He's another decent HW who held a share of the title once.

lol,,there's nothing to buy. its a fact he needed major surgery on his leg. he couldnt fight,,,,its as simple as that. anyone that thinks he'd be afraid of freaking rahman is either hating or ******

Vitali is a strange case indeed. It's sick the physical talent he has but never really gets to put it to use.

id say vitalis biggest accomplishment was the fact that he was ultimately recognized as being superior to his brother when he was champ.

vitali was always an afterthought before the lewis fight, wlad was sposed to be the guy who did all the big things

Vitali would beat Wladimir around like he was a red headed stepchild

Maybe, but Wlad will ultimately go down with better accomplishments of the two. More wins over guys who were contenders/titlists at the time.

it's sad that he hasn't become a big success, but he is a very good boxer. i suppose in sport your body is the key, and if it isn't able to cope with the pressure your sport puts on it then you won't have a legacy.

Oh wait, I forgot, he was winning the fights before he lost so they don't count.

He was also beating Hasim Rahman 4 times before he pulled out of every fight with a new injury.

                      he has no legacy...................
