imo cotto is a very determined fighter and boxer at the same time,
but do you agree with me he just gets hit too much......
he is a one dimensional fighter like it or not...
if he faces a boxer like mayweather he is done or at least someone that would establish a jab, has power, and gives head movement, that would be judah....cotto need to learn how to box little bit more we all know he is willing to trade at anytime and has a lion's heart...do you guys agree???

But check this out...he NEVER watches footage of his opponent, nor does he care too much for thier fighting style. He has always stated in his interveiws he adjusts to the fight as it happens. I gotta disagree with you on two things. ONE...don't ever compare Cotto with Tito Trinidad. Your assessment on Cotto...you probably didn't see the Kelson Pinto or Sosa bouts. Look closely rounds 3-6. brother you can't tell me Cotto doesn't use head movements. Watch the Abdullaev fight...Cotto was moving side to side, lateral movements! I agree with all the points you made. But i think one of his major flaws is his slow handspeed i'm a cotto fan yeah but his hand speed is a joke soon when he fights someone like pbf or even judah on saterday he will get hit and try to throw a punch back only to find his opponent has got a distance beetween them or has ducked away such as what pbf does.

I do agree his chin is his weakness. I got Zab on this one. Watch Cotto getting brutalized by Torres...that fight should have been stopped.

The reason why Cotto get's "tagged" too much is because he likes to throw while the other fighter is still throwing. That's how he makes you regret throwing punches at him because he connects while you are not practicing defense. That's why he got hurt against Torres, because he insisted in throwing at the same time instead of covering up like, say, Winky. He used to have a nice peak-a-boo style and people bitched about that, too.
