Its not hating on him, I actually dont mind the guy, its his crew that I genuinely dislike. Its just realising that he's just some internet punk thinking that he's got a chance of beating a former Heavyweight Boxing Champion of the World. If Kimbo wins, it'll be unbearable being a boxing fan for a long time.

I feel sorry for Mercer having to lower himself to fighting scum.

At least that guy had a little bit of ability unlike most of Kimbo's opponents, but his hands were far too low and he was probably hand-picked to make Kimbo look like he's beaten someone decent. Why can't these guys keep their guard up though? It seems such a simple thing to do. These guys take some brutal punishment.

Sure beards cushion blows. Just extrapolate into an extreme example and it becomes obvious: say a man shows up with a big mountain man beard - big cushion.
