It was like Lyak. deliberately lost. His corner was literally screaming in his face for him to move and stay out of the way of Briggs since he had the fight won - so what does he do, he stands right in front of Briggs waiting to get knocked out.

Yes, the more I see of Sultan Ibragimov the more I like him. Although he doesn't physically appear to be fearsome and intimidating, he's a very tough man and a smart and skillful boxer. He will be a force to be reckoned with in the heavyweight division for the next few years.

You make a good point. I came across stronger than I intended. I actually did not intend to insult Lyakhovich but just meant that I get annoyed by the Rahmans of the world who get shot after shot without earning it. Unless you have a rematch clause I think everyone should earn their title shots.
I hope to see Sergei again but I feel he needs to restore his status first.

Your right, Sergei hasn't done **** since his lost to Briggs and shouldn't automatically get another title shot. Look at Valuev, he's over his loss and is getting back into the ring in September against a decent undefeated Canadian prospect...
