Hatton is underrated slightly in term of boxing ability, i have said he has some degree of skills, what i am saying is there are cases where he has said one thing and clearly done the opposite, and he doesnt give an explaination of why this is,

One min he says he would love to fight witter, then he thinks witter is not worthy, etc.
I agree with some of what you say here.
But isn't Castillo a bigger name now?? And at 33, he is still at/atleast near the top of his game. I think fighting CAstillo would be good to see how Hatton does vs a guy who many have said " beat " PBF in their first match . ( though style vs style figures in that too )

Witter is a step backwards. Hatton is beyond him. Its pretty simple.

And whether you love Hatton you have to admit that Witter would be more of a challenge than Urango.
Urango had a belt. At the time the fight was made Witter had nothing. And for the record I think that Urango would be more challenging than Witter.

No way, Witter's only loss is to Zab Judah, a fight he took on a few weeks notice i understand.

What is the point of going back down to 140 if your not going to unify?

So Hatton should fight N'Dou, M'Baye and Torres as well as Witter? None of those fights would please his bank manager I'm sure...

No you're mistaken. Witter beat Chop Chop I believe in September of 06 for the vacant belt well before Hatton took on Urango. Hatton seems like he has a million & one excuses not to fight Witter which IMO would be an interesting fight as well as a draw in the UK more than likely. Hatton was quoted before the Maussa fight that he would fight Witter if he had a belt. Witter wins a belt & now Hatton says he unworthy.

The Urango fight was signed and scheduled before Witter took on Corley. At the time Hatton took the fight with Urango Witter had nothing to offer.

So why did he get in the ring with urango and collzao then?

The witter fight makes hatton more money and he gets a better belt.

So you're saying that Hatton secured the Urango fight more than 4 months in advance? The Witter vs. Corley fight was on 9/15/06 & I looked up the date of the Hatton fight & than was on 1/20/07. I highly doubt the Hatton fight was planned that far in advance.
