    Wait. Let's not re-write history.

Hatton himself is the one who said he was having problems making 140 when he announced a move to 147. He gets punched in the twelth round by Luis Effin' Collazo, and all of a sudden, 140 ain't so hard to make no more.

If Hatton got rocked by asspaper-fisted LC, imagine what a barrage of Mosley, Cotto or Margarito punches would do.

Im not sure if Hatton could stand up to those shots, although its kind of hard to judge with only one fight at Welterweight.

Margarito doesnt exactly fight perfect and is a pretty slow starter most the time, but he does have a ton of experience. but who really knows I guess.
Yeah but if hatton smothers him and hits him on the inside, he can win, margarito skills are cack, he is slow ,flat flooted, but he does have power, if hatton backs off him and gives him too much space, he could get hurt.

I tend to lean towards the more skilled fighter, and hatton is more skilled than Margarito, which doesnt say alot for either fighter.

outside top 10.. not to disrespect.. but 147 isnt the place for him.. collazo even hurt him, and kinda outboxed the hell outa him, I think that fight was a big sign for him to stay at 140. Not anything against hatton, but 147 is just jam packed with talent with natural welterweights.
