.....I put it at 50/50 if it's both of them against Wlad at the same time as your title indicates.

wlads just too big and powerful for both of those guys. he'd keep them both on the end of his jab and eventually take them out with the torpedo like right hand

yea,,,I just watched that fight again on tape the other night. man,,,that straight left of sanders was like a lightning rod and his combos were so quick. if he would have come in at 225 or less for all his fights it would have possibly been some career

I agree with the majority of the posters on this thread that, both fighters wouldn't stand a chance against the more powerful, experienced, and skillful Wlad Klitschko. However a Chagaev or Ibragimov matchup against Klitschko(may be they both can fight him at the same time....he'd still win!) makes good financial sense for either fighter becauss it would likely draw huge crowds in Germany and would be the biggest payday for either fighter. Plus, there's no shame in losing to Wlad Klitchko unless you pull an Austin...

Boston's got a point, it's not going to end your career. They should want the chance to make Wlad work.

But Ibragimov is too hittable. Briggs could land a straight right on him. Shannon Briggs's right hand could never touch the face of a Ruslan Chagaev on the other hand. Wlad's a good matchup for Chagaev b/c Chagaev could force Wlad to fight more conservatively than Sultan could (due to his ability to counter a right hand with his fast and effective left). But could he withstand even twelve rounds of jabbin from Wlad?

Kayjay, I think that both Chagaev and Ibragimov get KO'd no matter what they did. But, I think that if they put in a 'valiant' performance against Klitschko, it wouldn't hurt them career wise unless they got really ****** up in there. And it all comes back to the money; it would undoubtively(is that a word?) be the biggest payday of either fighter's career.

If Klitschko fights them both at the same time then he may be in trouble, but one at a time, he destroys both. Ibragimov does not hit hard and Chagaev isn't as good.

I wouldn't be too surprised if Chagaev KO'd Wlad, I've been watching him for a while and he sometimes has one of the trickiest left hand I've seen, he throws it when you least excpect and it's a nightmare to righty's. I'd my money on Wlad of course but Chagaev has a fair chance... Wlad's chin doesn't help either...
