On the official poll you created, 56% said Briggs would would KO Ibragimov and over 58% said Briggs would win. Almost everyone voted that Rahman would beat Maskaev and Brewster would beat Lyakhovich, both here and on other websites.

Even if European and Central Asian heavyweight boxers win every fight for the next 5 years, some people will say it's because there are no good American boxers anymore, rather then acknowledging that these fighters are good.

I definately had Ibragimov over Briggs and I think the majority of people did. I was 50/50 on Maskaev versus Rahman simply because I hadn't seen Maskaev fight since his loss to Lance Whitaker so I wasn't sure what he had left. I'll admit I was leaning towards Rahman but if the last time I saw Maskaev he was laid out in 2 by Whitaker who can blame me?
Do a search, find the old polls, and read the comments on the threads. About 80% of voters chose Rahman. By the way, Maskaev had 10 straight wins before facing Rahman, why were you not sure if he had anything left?

        Here's my rankings

        1. Wladimir Klitschko

Everyone else = Garbage (other than toney)

and some nutcases on ESB had byrd to KO Wlad, trust me, that was a sad day for boxing.

          klitschko
          maskaev
          chagaev
          ibragimov

though i think chagaev and sultan are superior to maskaev in skills i truly believe the intangibles are what separate guys on the highest level.. maskaev has made a lot of sacrifice to get where he is and showed true heart knocking rahman out in the 12th... for that reason i put him 2nd..

sultan goes last for me cause he has already shown up out of shape for 1 important fight and youd be foolish to think it wont happen again

The reason mine is with Chagaev at 2 is because he beat a guy more active and bigger than Briggs.....while Briggs hits harder I don't think he is as hard to beat using the style both Sultan and Ruslan used to beat their Giant foes.

Vitali Klitschko and Sam Peter (if he keeps improving) could probably hold their own in other eras, but you can't tell me any of the other guys are elite fighters. Name one guy who has even made two successful title defenses against quality opposition. None of them have or can for that matter. Right now I'm just waiting for Peter vs. Vitali so we can have a decent heavyweight champion.

You can't honestly tell me you think Ibragimov, Chagaev, Maskaev, Briggs, Liakhovich, Brewster, Valuev, etc are good. None of you really believe that.

THAT PROVES NOTHING THAT WAS A CLOSE FIGHT(RAHMAN MASKAV ) ... BUT AS FOR BRIGGS SULTAN.. I THOUGHT SULTAN WAS THE BETTER FIGHTER BUT BRIGGS IS SO DAMN BIG AT 275 ALMOST PURE MUSCLE HOW CAN YOU NOT THINK HE WILL WIN.. ITS NOT HE RACE THAT BLINDS ITS HIS BODY

there you go crying again becuase your boys rahman and toney are finished. there's been worse eras and there are several good europeans that would have at least competed in most eras. wlad,,vitali,,,,chageav,,and peter with his chin and power

I cant understand why some of u guys have Imbragimov up as number 2 he looked very plain the other night I think any of the other title holders would knock him out. Its a sad state of affairs as apart from wlad the other champs are not top class.
