Anybody who really believed that Briggs would KO Ibragimov in the early rounds simply doesn't know the first thing about boxing. Ibragimov has had a successful career both as an amateur and a professional simply because he is not in the habit of standing in front of an opponent and getting hit. Briggs isn't hard to beat, all you have to do is throw a few punches and move. He is just too fat and lazy to prevent it.

He's not fat, he's too ****ing bulky. And has stamina issues, and I don't know how bad his asthma is but if its bad and he's fighting in the summer time over in Jersey then he just ****ed himself. All that could effect him big time.

Well considering Briggs is extremly powerful and Ray Austin got to, and knocked down Sultan goes to show that this was a possibility.
Just because people thought Briggs had a shot to stop Sultan early doesnt mean they dont know anything about boxing.
And its easy to say this now, after the fight.

He has a steroid-enhanced body and is likely very strong, but it's not a truly athletic build. He looks like someone who lifts weights, eats a high-protein diet, takes steroids but doesn't do much cardio.

nice picture, on you avatar. Do you happen to know where I can get a copy of Briggs failure at defending his belt? The fight might not have been the best but sultan did land some bombs.

I had a Sulton would take it. Briggs just too roided up and too heavy and people see his size as an advantage.

A couple of months ago I told everybody how Ibragimov could beat that bum, and that is exactly what Ibragimov did.
