Every country produces great champions, in distinctive weight classes. I will go as far to say that, "as of late", the Heavy Weight division is being ruled by European Champions. As we go lower, Cruiser Weight = USA, the Middle Weight divison is 3/4 European, (Calzaghe, Pavlick, Kessler)1/4 USA (Taylor) the Welter Weight is ruled by USA fighter, with Ricky Hatton in the mix. go even lower, and Filipino, Thailand, and Mexican fighter are dominating those divisions. Puerto Rico has produced the most Champions, with Mexico and USA a close 2nd. Who has the better fighters you say? When fighters stop being scared of fighting the other champions in "THIER" back yards....uhmm..."K-aL-Za-gee"...then will we know. Until then, America has produced more Champions.
