I know it sucks that it's not going to be on HBO or Showtime, but I think Showtime has the Vasquez/Marquez rematch that month. I'll probably buy it anyways because I think it has a chance of being really exciting and If the undercard is good I'll definitely buy it.

this fight won't sell outside of LA. You need a good guy/bad guy senario. These are two bad guys. Not much to root for here.

I think Mayorga has the advantage becuase of his crazy style. Vargas would have won easy 5 years ago, but at this point he is very much a shot fighter. This is the type of fight that shouldn't be made in my opinion. This is how people get permanently injured.
