comon, briggs is a "champ" and has at least been in with the far better competition. how can the more experienced champion who's last fight was a knockout win over a reigning champion, be an underdog in a fight against a guy who was floored by ray austin?
yes ibragimov may have some skills, but he hasn't fought great competition, he hasn't looked impressive enough to warrant 2/1 in favor of. a 50/50 split, maybe, not a favoriteComment

lol,,,I love how so many briggs fanatics on here are getting cold feet and looking for excuses for briggs just in case he loses now that its close to fight time. hes been in the 260+ range for his last how many fights now? he's in the same shape he's been for his last several fights and you can still see his ab muscles. he's roided and in shape. stop looking for excusesComment

if anyone's being overrated its sultan by being the 2/1 favorite

Agreed! This is going to be one of Sultans best and possibly easiest fights. All Sultan has to do is make it through the first round and he destroys Briggs just like Goofi.Comment

I really think Briggs can still KO Ibragimov... What about SI? He couldn't even KO a journeyman and was even dropped?
Ibragimov does not have any head movement which is why he is very vulnerable to jabs and left hooks. He drops his hands everytime he punches and has poor footwork. I know Briggs is more stationary these days but he certainly has great counterpunching and timing and better handspeed for a guy his size.Comment
