I agree. I think Sultan will win but you cant ignore the power Briggs will bring.

Having said that, 273 is way too heavy for Briggs.

I think Sultan is a lot more talented than some are giving him credit for. The Austin fight is in the past. He was out of shape in that fight too.

A man that large can be badly hurt when he hits the floor.

.....I will give you that Antonio and I tend to agree, but man he dissapointed me in the Austin fight. I do think it goes a little deeper than just being out of shape though because I think Whitaker hurt him in their fight. I tried to ignore it because he fought so well and so aggresive and got the stoppage win. Austin also hurt him and he's not a big puncher at all. Sultan leaves himself open and unless he is really showing the head movement they supposedly worked on in training camp, he is going to catch a big shot. The problem is, I don't think he can take a big shot from Briggs. If I were a betting man I would take Shannon and those two to one odds.

That right there is where I have my doubts, but I dont think he will have trouble getting to Briggs' chin. He seemed to have trouble with Austin's reach which is about the only thing he had going for him in that fight and he used it perfectly.

Sultan has trained with Jeff Mayweather for this fight and I get a feeling he will walk away on Saturday with a victory over Briggs. Briggs is carrying way too much weight and the only way he can beat Sultan is by knocking him out.

Briggs is almost 300lbs and I just can't see him surviving for 12 rounds having to carry around all of that weight. If anything Briggs might gas in the middle of the fight causing Sultan to take over and possibly getting knocked out.

I actually want Sultan to win because it looks like he is taking this fight serious by first changing trainers (Panana Lewis to Jeff Mayweather) and second by getting into shape. Briggs on the other hand is coming into this one heavier than his last fight. Briggs had more than enough time to get into shape considering the fight was postponed the first time. Briggs is a disgrace.

What a sad commentary on heavyweight boxing....Briggs has a belt, and the other 3 champs don't even have scheduled bouts
...AND this fight is pay-per-view!!!!!!!!! That is a huge part of what is wrong with boxing. I really want to see this fight, no doubt. This has the potential to be highly entertaining, ( or terrible)but it should only be viewed as part of my regular HBO/SHOWTIME boxing.

looks to be in the same shape he's been in for his last several fights,,,that will probably be his excuse though after he loses
