I can't get the image of Hatton failing to hurt Collazo or take his punches out of my mind although Collazo is a welterweight. Still, Castillo is basically a cruiserweight the way he weighs in. If Hatton can't hurt him, can he win? He has to fight like Corrales fought Castillo in a phone both and just keep slapping away with the hooks in the clinches. I just read today that two of the judges had Corrales ahead of Castillo by several points going into the 10th round of that fight although I remember it being close on my card, possibly Castillo ahead by a round. If it looks like Corrales-Castillo I and there are no knockdowns, it's going to be insanely difficult to score and could go either way. I guess what I'm trying to say is the guy I have winning on my card might not be what the judges have, so a lot of people are going to cry foul if this doesn't end decisively. I don't think it will.

This fight is going to be a war, both will be bloodied and hurt before it's over. Castillo is a very talented fighter, and if he's in top shape he has a good chance of defeating anyone. However, I believe Hatton will be at his best as well, and will win a thriller with a late round TKO.

        This matchup has FOTY potential

this will be a good fight. Castillo loves to trade and so does hatton in a diferent way. In the end, Hattons conditioning will be to much for castillo

Does anyone else think this matchup has fight of the year potential? I've been reading they're both in excellent shape.

If Castillo loses decisively, it could be his last fight. But somehow I think he has lots of good fights left and he'll be active until 2010.

i think his last showing was deceiving.
lots of fighters have poor performances and go on to win other big fights,
i dont think he will win but i think he will push hatton all the way and will
be a harder fight than the inactive kostya tsyzu was, regardless of quality.

DOnt buy into Castillo hasnt much left since Corrales fight. He lost the first but didnt do too bad in the rematch. Castilo thinks hes as good as he ever was or he wouldnt still be in the game. His last fight wasnt great but boxers dont always perform like their capable of or arent always in the best shape they can be, but dont mean Castiloo is past it. Hatton was not all that in his last fights as well.
It should be a great fight though jd1986
