would you say that floyd's punches travel any farther than oscar de la hoya's? yet oscar has more power, and less handspeed.

you might have forgotten, that according the laws of physics that youre citing, a bowling ball dropped at that same height will fall at the same rate as that penny. which would you rather have fall on you?

comparing that to the speed of a punch is comparing apples and oranges, my friend.

No. You forgot to incorporate the distance.

Accuracy also plays a big part in the whole thing.
There are many hard hitters in boxing who aren't accurate punchers.

Whats the gotta to do with speed = Power,

        Its a scientific fact.

But to answer you question, yes, they have indirectly taught Pbf in aspects of physics, all boxers have been, unless their trainer is incompetant.

Example, Mayweather SR saying: Plant your front foot forward and transfer the weight of the punch.

Its the basics of boxing, teaching someone how to punch properly, its all about feet, hands, weight, force, in other words physics,

Im sure most who have boxed would agree.

It doesnt matter what you incoporate, speed equals power, thats a fact of science, no matter how you create that speed, using distance or not, speed equals power, and thats all i have have said.

About accuracy, if you read my post properly you would have noticed i said

"Ermm nope. Because speed equals power, its a scientific fact, the faster something travels, the more force it has, simple science, and thats all i have ever said, if someone hits you rapdily (depending on what you call rapid), and repeateadly in the same place, it tends to hurt."

The bit in bold is where i have accounted for accuracy in terms of how this relates to boxing.

Im not talking about who hits harder than who at the moment, all im saying is that speed equals power.

Well Mayweather's speed equals power that has no effect on his opponents in terms of ending the fight early or making them get discouraged.

It's all in his defensive abilities and how difficult he is to hit.
That's the only reason why fighters think too much and fight too little against him.

Oh and it's speed + accuracy = power (in boxing).
