Mayweather by UD, Mosely was fast, but his defense was lacking, Forrest destroyed him for life, he was never the same again after that.

Well, this is the version of Mosley before facing Forrest. It's a pick'em fight...

        It depends.
If Shane fights his fight, he'd win.
If Mayweather somehow makes him fight tactile and not let his hands go....Mayweather wins.

Yeah but im saying forrest exposed his defenisive frailties, which have always been there, and still are, for me, its close, but its mayweather ud imo, ill go with mayweather's better defense plus right hand giving him a decision.

a lot of boxer punchers seem real hesitant to let their hands go against mayweather.

i say floyd by UD in a boring fight.

And it's not like his counter punches aren't discouragingly powerful either.
I think it's because they're too afraid to get behind on scorecards.

So they end up falling in his trap, fighting a fight to win on points.

well jack, youve laced em, and you know it can be discouraging to have punches land period. hes fast enough to land a powerless straight right (that looks effective) right over your jab.

When someone hits you rapidly, and repeatedly in the same areas, it transfers into pain.

                  Speed is power.

Thus why alot of mayweather's opponents tend to say the same thing after his fights,

                  1) He was alot faster than i thought

                  2) His punches were more powerful than i thought.

Mainly cos they cant always see the shots coming, probably hurts more.

speed does not equal power. speed gives you a better chance of landing a punch the opponent doesnt see coming, but mayweather doesnt throw sneaky, looping punches. he throws a pretty standard right hand-left hook deal.

when he does land punches the opponent doesnt see coming, they can be effective (e.g. against sharmba mitchell)
