It's revisionist boxing history here, and the claim that Chavez "p4p" was ever close to Hatton's equal is just silliness. hatton is faster, not not just "p4p" (this term is now for ******s, you understand) but simply faster, as well as more adaptable, trickier, better skilled and more powerful.

Floyd was terrific at the lower weights, almost as good as De La Hoya was. No one denies him that much.

Also Chavez chin is 10 times better then Hatton, from all the fighters Floyd has faced in my opinion Chavez had the best chin, even better then Castillo.

Hatton will be knocked out with all the punches Chavez took in that fight.

Don't be too impressed - they were Floyd's punches afterall.

Kostya Tszyu KOs Chavez in 6.

I've seen Chavez for a long time and I know the type of a chin he had, Tyszu was light welterweight, he was much bigger then Chavez, but I still don't think Tszyu would've knocked out Chavez.

I know KT's a LWW but Hatton walked through a few full blown shots without blinking, so he has the better chin outright. P4P they're probably on a par.

Chavez's chin is very good but he's been dropped a couple of times, and not by particularly brutal punchers. Didn't he get ****d last time out too?

My point is that you should rethink your "10 times better" statement. The only time Hatton's chin has displayed the slightest weakness was due to a combination of fatigue and the accumulation of a former LMWs punches. Even then it only took him 20 secs to recover before controlling the rest of the round. His chin looks more than fine to me.

I never saw Tszyu landing some big punches on Hatton, I've seen many fights from both men and yes I think Chavez chin is 10 times better imo.

Tszyu's strength came from when he was able to set up from a distance, plant his feet and lay that 1, 2 on you that devastates anyone, that never happened once in the Hatton fight.

Chavez was much smaller than Tszyu and his best weight was when he was at 130. I cant really compare Chavez with Hatton because Chavez was ALWAYS going up against rated competition while i have only seen hatton with 1 highly rated opponent.
