I really hope the rematch doesnt come off. More attention would be brought to the sport, and again the fight would fail to live up to the hype.

Mayweather-Mosley however... THERES a good fight

I don't think the fight will happen. If it does I wont buy it.

Sulaiman just wants the huge sanctioning fee. Damn crooked alphabet soups get on my last nerve.

The only thing is each fight he chooses to use more or less of it. Name one thing Floyd doesnt do well on Offense? He's a great in-fighter when he's in the pocket, he's faster then just about everyone, he's the most accurate puncher in the game, he has some pop, and he can throw any punch in the game. He works the top & bottom equaly
i disagree.. hes hands are pretty fast but nowhere near the fastest..his great defense is his key to winning.. if he fought in the era of hagler hearns pryor duran the casual fans wouldnt even kno who floyd is he fight just like his father who fought in that era and look what happened to him .. floyd is better then his father of course but he has the same exact style

Floyd's father got shot in the leg. So his career was somewhat shortened. A rematch would bring about the same result. A decision win for Floyd. And Floyd would beat Duran BTW.

I wonder what the sanctioning fees on the first fight were.

I completely disagree with you. Floyd is a top fighter in any era. Also, how many guys have faster hands then Floyd? Your problem is that youve been watching Floyd at weights that he doesnt belong at. At 130-140 he is easily one of the best of all time and would beat 95% of the boxers in history. No way Pryor beats him with that one demensional crap. Did you see him against Alexis? He had no D and left himself open all the time. Floyd would beat him fairly easy. I cant believe you say he isnt fast. At 130 there was no one in his era that was faster.

I never thought it was fair for people to compare him to guys like Leonard & Hearns unless your going to talk about P4P. Alot of media idiots say that those guys would kill Floyd but they fail to mention that Floyd just started fighting at 147 while those guys started at that weight and ended at LHW. I believe Floyd has just filled into 147 in his last fight. When he comes back down to WW then you can start to judge him but anything else is dumb when those guys were natuarlly way bigger. Now if you compare them at 147 to a 130 pound Floyd then he is better or just as good. He's also far better at the higher weights then those guys were. He's far better at 147 then they were at 160 and higher. I still cant believe you say he isnt fast. Your just saying that because youve watched his last couple of fights when he's throwing one punch at a time so it doest seem fast. If he throws his combos then they are still blistering and your not going to be the same speed at 154 as you were at 130. Floyd is much more of a complete fighter then you give him credit for.

Fans like you just dont get that the 80's were overrated. No doubt they had great fighters but we make them mythical because that was the last era of regular TV fights. Your completely wrong saying that no one would NO Floyd. It would be the exact opposite. If he fought then, he would be 10x more famous then he is now. If guys like Leonard, Duran, and Hearns fought now then they wouldnt be super because boxing isnt a major sport anymore and they always fight on PPV. You trying to tell me that these guys couldnt fight in any era. Guys like Floyd, Hopkins, RJ, MAB, EM, Pac, JMM, Tszyu, Winky, and others are all time greats. Its just that boxing isnt big anymore so we dont look at them like the 80's guys.
