Not really. Taking JMM's belt is as easy as talking a candy from a 4 year old. We all know JMM would GKTFO by Pac......if only Arum wouldn't lose so much money just for those damn belts. GoldenBoy is being hardheaded....their childish feud should stop! It's destroying boxing.

i think arum wants to try and get his fighter the belt and then have pac fight soto if soto were to beat Bobby Pacquiao and then beat JMM. if that were the case then arum could have the belt and then have two of his fighters fight for it, thus all the money that is made is there for arum. arum will get a piece of Manny's cash and a piece of soto's cash(provided it goes down like that), plus whatever he makes as a promoter, money from the gate, PPV and cable, etc.

this is why boxing is having the trouble it's having, as far as having exciting fights, and actually giving the people what they want. promoters, lawyers, and sanctioning bodies are ruining everything. slowly and methodically...........

wtf is up with thewse people! how is jmm a big risk for pacquiao? jmm clearly hasnt been the same since his brutal war with the pacman...he has lost a step he got hit with so many left straights but that thai guy, he had a tough fight with jimrex jaca who has no power, and he had to struggle with marco barrera and got knocked down.

pacman destroyed barrera and he is no longer a one trick pony! he has that counter right and hooks in his arsenal and better movement. if that thai fighter can hit marquez with so many lefts what would happen if pacquiao fought him?

How is it an excuse when it's a fact that JMM wanted 1.5 mil instead of the 750K offered to him? You can't carry an argument. I'll help ya, I'll enroll you into Debate class.

Again, Pac and his camp knows that they won't get JMM because if anybody remembers when Pac was mandatory for Barrera GBP f'd over Pac and had Barrera fight JMM. ****** childish war between Top Rank and GBP over Pacquiao. We see another situation here again. Also Top Rank, like everybody else said, is trying to get Soto come home with the title and have Pacquiao fight for it so it'll be money in Top Rank land.
very astute observation. Truth is, it all can be just a childish game, or a business war. And the fans are caught in the middle. I feel this fight will come off, just not for a year or so, it needs to mature to a point where neither GBP or Top Rank can stop the fight from happening, the fans will need to force HBO to step in and make the fight because of the fiscal advantages are too great to pass up.

Good post. With the promoter's attitudes.......we can expect more bull**** from them in the future. And GBP is suppose to save boxing? What BS!!

GBP can't save boxing by itself... hell, Oscar can't even save himself from Floyd....

im shocked, but than again im not. i mean paq ran through a finished barrera, had some issues with erik the first time around wich left morales with nothin more after that fight. after that he got shut out by rahim, and morales and barrera were both pushin it by stayin in the sport while tryin to take on some of these new fighters.

i think thats gonna hurt paq's career, i mean hands down his most impressive win was when he worked over larrios, larrios was big and still fresh. took pac for 12 rounds but blatantly lost and went down twice, that **** was impressive. marquez was still fresh too, took pac to 12.

seems like skilled fighters that have fresh bodys can nullify paq's ability to some extent. so maybe he doesnt want to take the risk and lose money. but i hope he just doesnt walk away now, i mean theirs guzman, i think if israel vasquez can move up, he'd be a dangerous fighter too.
