Instead of explaining, why don't we all write or sign a petition addressed to both Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions that Pacman/JMM2 is the fight that we want to see. Stop their bickering, settle their differences and give the paying public what they want.

It's true that Marquez needs Pacquaio more than the other way around, and a 50/50 purse split wouldn't be too bad for Marquez once he looked at the amount of money before him. Pacman wants to go in another direction at the moment and fight some solid respectable guys like Valero and Juan Diaz. I would prefer if the fight happened now, but hey if Juan Manuel can get past MAB one more time and defend against Soto then a megafight between the two can happen this time or fall of next year for HUGE money.

No, you're wrong. the article did not say that PAC could've gotten the WBC to change the split. What Schaefer said was, that the WBC usually does it in cases where the challenger is so well know such as PAC. Again, I don't see any guarantees in this. I mean lets be real about this....how do you actually see negotiations going down w/ the current tensions between TOP RANK and gbp?! Plus, Top Rank's been sticking to their gameplan long before this article came out.

And that is make Humberto Soto the #1 challenger to JMM's crown, no need to worry about purse bids, as Soto will be more than happy to finally get a shot at a title. WIN, WIN situation for TOP RANK, they get to have Soto as champ(I would favor Soto over JMM and PAC) and have the most electrifying fighter today in their stable.

It sucks because this is the fight I want to see. The last fight was great, but left questions. I want to see those questions answered. Pac wasn't probably right in declining he wants to be making the most, which would make sense because he is the draw. I hope they figure something out so these two can fight.

Is that why JMM was willing to give Barrera a rematch? Because he knows he's done?

Again, Pac and his camp knows that they won't get JMM because if anybody remembers when Pac was mandatory for Barrera GBP f'd over Pac and had Barrera fight JMM. ****** childish war between Top Rank and GBP over Pacquiao. We see another situation here again. Also Top Rank, like everybody else said, is trying to get Soto come home with the title and have Pacquiao fight for it so it'll be money in Top Rank land.
