Yeah, I guess Winky and Hopkins didn't really deserve a fight with Taylor. Abraham, Pavlik, Miranda etc are much more deserving since they have, you know, zero good wins.

Did he even really win the hopkins fights or get a draw in the winky fight? Or did hbo protect their beloved jermaine taylor? Is it proof that to beat Jermaine Taylor, you have to knock his ass out of the ring and make sure he doesn't get back up?

This fights not going to happen because obviously Taylor thinks Pavliks too much of a risk to fight. Basically, Taylor's a coward

i agree with you in that pavlik is a risk for taylor and taylor's a coward. i also am doubtful this fight will happen because of the previously mentioned reasons.

but taylor goddamn better give pavlik this fight. pavlik is the universally recognized #1 contender. hes also the WBC mandatory for taylor. so, taylor's choices are:

1. fight pavlik (and lose)
2. drop or get stripped of the WBC title and avoid pavlik and lose A LOT of whatever credibility he has left
3. make some ***** excuse to move up to super middleweight

honestly, i think hes moving up to SMW. i want him to fight pavlik, but face it, taylor's a *****, hes not gonna fight pavlik.

Hey everyone, I think its a great time for Pavlik.One thing(alittle off subject) but, maybe its his personality, he doesn't seem really hyped up about fighting Taylor.He keeps saying things like, yeah I want to fight him, but it it doesn't happen theres other belts.I mean Miranda had the right atitude atleast.Maybe alittle over bored, but he was determine.Hmmmm, just something that just smells alittle funny to me.Just a thought.

**** yes i do, taylor's looked like the same fighter since i first saw him.

no matter what steward says, he cant get taylor to fight. i really think its cause taylor isnt smart enough. it's like he cant understand or grasp the instincs to throw. he's either thinkin too hard, nervous, afraid, or just unable to see it when he's in the ring.

steward tries to show him with words, but i dont think taylor will understand until he actually feel's it click in his head on his own terms.

so yeah, definantly put pavlik in their with taylor right now. i think pavlik can avoid that loaded up right hand if he can manage not to get thrown off balance by taylors jab. pavliks accurate, can take a punch, and has some stiff punches.

I repeat....when and if the time comes for Taylor and Pavlik to step in the ring, my bets on Taylor. I like Pavliks style, but I just think he's not ready for the Taylor who will show up at fight time. You guys are basing Taylors performance against P4P ranked guys and not considering that Pavlik has not even begun to fight the caliber of boxer Taylor has. Just remember I told you so. lol
