Yes, Pavlik should fight Taylor.

At least if he is outpointed by Taylor, it's no disgrace. After all, Hopkins and Wright, two of the best, lost decisions to Jermain. If Pavlik KO's Taylor, then he wins a couple of titles and will be generally regarded as the best middleweight. It's worth the risk.
