How come Colombian fighters never live up to the hype?

    Joel Julio, Edison Miranda, Juan Urango, none of them live up to the hype, im sorry if im offending anyone but its true.

    Carlos Mausa and Ricardo Torres did'nt either both were given their first loss by Cotto.
    its the lack of training, and their fighters dont suck. they got a **** load of potential, just nobody is exploiting them.

    i said it once, if your just a decent trainer...you can pick up a colombian guy outta the gym, work with him, and probably end up with a meal ticket.

      Kid Pambele was columbian wan't he?

      These new guys should be paying a hell of a lot more attention to Pambele's legacy, because Pambele could really box, not just punch.
