Im getting so sick and tired of hearing about this mma vs boxing crap,Isn't there some mma forum somewhere for people to talk about this crap....don't get me wrong ive got nothing against mma or anything but it just seems that whenever you get a boxing forum where there is a mma section you always get some guy talking **** about how there sport is better than or some crap,it's getting to the point where there gonna have to make it boxing talk only,isn't there mma forums out there that are just about mma,so why do they have to hijack boxing boards,ill bet you dont get boxing fans going on to their sites dissing mma all the time,and by the sounds of it this dana white guy dosent help much always trying to slag off boxing,but at the end of the day if his sport was so good then why does he need to always diss ours.Why dosent he just worry about his sport and let us get on with ours...

UFC 71 was the first MMA event I have seriously tried to watch. I've seen the occasional fights from UFC before and had never been that impressed, but I actually really enjoyed this event. The only fight I was not particularly excited by was the one which ended in a submission, although even that was interesting from a technical martial-arts point of view.

I can see how people might be attracted by events like this over boxing, but it is possible to be a fan of both. they are just different sports.

that's like being a huge fan of American football (Boxing) and then trying to become a fan of canadian football(MMA). The american fan will hate the lame rules of canadian football.

And let me just get this in to rub it in for the mma f@ggots who troll our boxing board. yes, this means you Red Burnell.

You take a Boxer, put him in the ring against an MMAer in a MMA event, he has a 50 % chance or greater of winning.

You put a mma guy in a boxing ring with boxing gloves, and he has absolutely no ****ing chance whatsoever to win the fight. It's like the old guy from Werther's Originals trying to score with Paris Hilton, just ain't gonna happen.
