Do your research $iN. Hatton's beaten at least a dozen who were ranked in the top ten at the time. His next opponent, Castillo, is ranked as the #1 contender by Ring magazine.

Please, do your research, $iN. Duran is actually a little taller and longer armed than Hatton. But, Roberto Duran lost 15 fights when he moved to bigger weight divisions, after being virtually invincible as a lightweight.

First of all, I am not one who hates Ricky Hatton. In fact, I don't hate any fighter, although there are some I'm not too fond of. I particularly like Ricky Hatton, as I do all fighters who display an urgency to inflict bodily harm to his oponent.

That said, Ricky Hatton is not the only fighter that is hated by some. I don't think there's a single boxer who doesn't elicit the scorn of at least a few. So let's not shed any tears for Mickey Hatton, huh?

            Duran: 5'7" with 66" reach.
            Hatton: 5'6" with 66" reach.

Duran was one of the best even a few divisions up from lightweight. He didn't really start losing until he was at 154, his 4th division. Hatton, on the other hand, struggled with an average fighter just one division up from his natural weight. He is just not that great of a fighter...

It's true that every fighter is hated by some people. But the difference is that the ones who hate Hatton, especially $iN, devote much of their time to discrediting him.

Myself, I don't hate any fighter, because I think anyone who has the balls to take punches and risk being knocked out deserves respect. The people who hate Hatton and other boxers, wouldn't have the courage to step inside a ring.

No, Hatton's reach is 65'' - why change the facts, $iN? And Duran lost when he moved up to welterweight, to Sugar Ray Leonard. Do your research before posting, $iN!

Again, why do you hate Hatton, $iN?

Sorry, I know that 1" is such a huge difference. Without that extra inch, Duran would never have gone past 147...

Yes, Duran lost 2 divisions up from lightweight to one of the best fighters in the history of the sport. That is very similar to Hatton's struggle with Collazo...

No, 1'' is only a slight difference, as I said before. But you obviously must think it means something, because you knew Hatton's reach is 65'' and added an inch!

The difference is that Hatton won when he moved up, although in your mind his wins are really losses.

Duran is a top 5 alltime or top 10 alltime fighter with a resume that astonishes most everyone who fights in this day and age, including Mayweather jr who has made comments in the past about how great he thinks he was. Someone like Collazo would have been KO'ED by Duran, so dont ever ****ing say that "oh wehn hatton moved up he won" because the level of competition that Hatton has picked and fought other than Tszyu and Duran fought isnt even close to being comparable by any means.
