Who's the better FIGHTER? Joe Calzaghe or Floyd Mayweathers

How is Calzaghe a better fighter than Mayweather? the guy moved up 5 different weight classes and fought in the pocket with De La Hoya, Joe hasnt ever moved up in weight, ever, and hasnt fought anywhere near the level of opposition mayweather has fought. There is no evidence to support that claim, espeically when he got knocked down by friggin byron Michell, get real guys, im not hating, but this is just a step too far imo.

Floyd is a boxer, he boxes beautifully, flawlessly almost, Calzaghe is a box-brawler (or slapper, whichever suits you most), he will stand toe to toe with anybody, that makes him more of a figher than if he were to BOX on the back foot.

How can people claim calzaghe is a better fighter based on who he has fought?, he stayed at the same weight class his whole carrer and his record isnt exactly littered with big names,

If he moved up multiple weight classes and still won convincingly, then there is a case, but no way is he a better fighter than mayweather imo.

As far as ability and resume goes it's very close, but Mayweather has the edge.

Nobody is claiming that he is the better fighter because of the people he has fought. He is the better FIGHTER because of his style. He takes punches and he gives punches. He is a brawler.

Maywhether on the other hand is not a massively hard puncher. He does not take many punches. He is a ring technician and a master boxing tactician.

Put them both in the bare-knuckle fighting world and Calzaghe would do much better than PBF. He has more heart, he has more stamina and his style is more suited to fighting. PBF is more skills and is more suited to boxing.

Hence why Calzaghe is the better fighter and PBF is the better boxer.

Watch the Bika fight, then watch any mayweather fight and tell me Calzaghe is the better fighter.
