Jones really doesnt need to proove anything else.. but if he is attempting to still do it I gota give him credit, im a huge fan and always look forward to seeing him fight.. Hanshaw has 2 wins against taylor in amateurs, he is an undefeated prospect, so it isnt an easy fight by any means.. Roy has had a long lay off so its a good fight, he wins this he can step up and see what he can do.. The man is a living legend, and can still shock us, anythings possible.

Didn't Roy Jones Jr get caught doing steroids or was that a rumor?

Its virtually true. Obviously Jones has much MUCH more talent in the bag, but when is the last time we saw him use it?

Lets be honest here. With Manfredo we have a name that the public recognises, who before Calzaghe was not fighting top-drawer opponents and whose only purpose was to give Calzaghe more exposure.

With Roy Jones we have a former top-level fighter (but not anymore) who has not proven that he can get back to any level of high credibility and who is not facing top-drawer opponents (perhaps because he cannot get them) and thus the only purpose of fighting for Kessler would be to get him more exposure and a decent pay-day.

Take away RJJ's legacy and the fact that he is still loved by many and realistically you get two very similar fights (note I did not say fighters).

Not much of a racing fan. Something about going around in mis-shaped circles that just doesnt excite me. I'll plump for McLaren though.

Jones is shot, all he does is look for the body shots, and hes very vunerable when u rush him and put constant pressure on him. I'm a fan of Roy, but ever since that showing in Tarver III i promised myself not to get excited when he fights. He doesnt have it in him anymore.

its ViRTUAL true u say.. what the **** is your reasoning?? simply ******

rjj lost to tarver and johnson, who were and johnson stil is a part of the elite in their weight class..

what have manfredo done.. NOTHING.. this is not virtual, he has done nothing..

if you chose to compare, that both calzone and kessler was in it for recognition amongst the mainstream fan, then thats the only comparison..

even a shot rjj whoopps manfredo.. kessler - rjj would be more equal, will gain kessler more exposure then calzlappys fight, it will gain kessler a good payday..

there is a big difference, if it was joe who was taking on jones, as to kessler..

joe has time after time spoken on fighting the big names, which never has happened and is in desperat need of a legacy defining fight.. he is running out of time, he cant afford it anymore.. he cant take a tune up, trying to make his name recognisable for the mainstream fan, its now or probably never..

kessler is still young, and took the titel, fought mandatory, unified and another mandatory, he could easely take 6 monts out of hes career to make his name recognised and use rjj as mean to fame.. this luxury is what calzaghe is lacking..

Yep you were right, they got a one two, alonso drove a stunner, and i dont like him, ahhh, sundays are always that little bit nicer when Ferrari win, its like having a smoke after a good meal. (although ive been clean of nicotine for a year and a half)

Still, Milan won on wednesday, everything else is a bonus i guess.
