Butter Bean is an attraction in MMA just like he was in Boxing. Butter Bean didn't face real contenders in boxing and hasn't faced real contenders in MMA. In both sports they put him with hand picked opponents.

BB beating MMA fighters is as significant as when he was beating boxers.

As for BB, he was just there as an attraction for the Japanese people. Besides his surprising upsets against Thompson and Cabbage, he hasn't won against anyone of real worth.

Some of you guys don't get it. The point is boxers can win against MMAers but MMAers cannot win against a boxer in a boxing fight. If they could, then Fedor, Cro Crop etc...would have fought Klitscho or Byrd in a boxing match where they will make millions instead of a measly few thousands that MMAers make. None of the top UFC fighter would have won against mediocre butterbean in a boxing match......let alone a prime Mike Tyson.
