    Does Anyone Agree

I was posting this in another thread and saw PBF getting bashed and I reponded to them. Its about the Mayweather and DLH fight

U people make me laugh. Everything ya say is just dumb. PBF didn't make it a boring fight!! DLH did! WHY?!!!?!! Because DLH couldnt hit him. If DLH would have landed shots from the begining we would have seen a realy realy good fight. For example If hopkins cant land shots on Winky when that fight happens and it beomes a boring fight... whos fault is it?! Yeah exactly thats what I thought. So stop bashing Mayweather and Bash DLH for not bringing the best out of Floyd Mayweather. Seriosly think about that! DLH was horrible that night. He didnt throw the jab so Mayweather Blocked and Dodged all his shots while countering. I would have done the same. Someones gotta agree with me! BTW when PBF said I'll give him a toe to toe fight! That didnt happen. Wana know why because DLH wasnt doing **** couldnt land. Wasnt accurate. So PBF did what he did to all the other fighters he fought. He outsmarted them.

I honestly think that DLH fell into the trap that damn near everyone Mayweather opponent has fallen into, he was try to pressure him, & that **** definitly wasn't working. DLH didn't lose his jab he just threw it out, if he had boxed him he would have had a much better chance at landing effective shots & it would have forced Mayweather to pick up the pace. I do agree with you, I think DLH could have made this a much closer fight, but it was an entertaining fight, anyone with any kind of boxing knowledge know this fight wasn't gonna be a slugfest, DLH tried to make it one & that's why he lost.

Honestly, I like Floyd, but I feel 154 was quite a jump for him. It's been a long time since he left his lightweight home. While I understand the point you are making, and to some extent agree, I feel the fight was De la Hoya's to lose- I was rooting for Floyd, but as I scored it I saw Oscar coming on with his flurries against the ropes. Many shots missed. Some hit. Point being in the early going Oscar was doing just enough to steal rounds. Floyd was correct in saying Oscar would gas out, but what if the Golden Boy hadn't? I think if he had more stamina he would have stolen the fight.

First of all when DLH threw his jab it was effective....secondly DLH did miss alot but defintely pressed the action and Floyd countered very well.To add to this when you say if DLH would have landed we would have seen a very good fight......If DLH could have landed cleanly Floyd would have been KOed....there is no question about that.Anyway the fight ****** Floyd earned the victory ever so slightly but what you say is kind of far fetched if you ask me.

Thanx for agreeing. I wasn't going for neither PBF and DLH I just wanted to see a good fight. But when I hear PBF getting bashed that kinda makes me angry. They blame PBF for not making it a good fight! When DLH didnt land. T

Which is why he landed 4 out of 77 jabs in the last three rounds, right?

Oscar landed a few clean shots in the 12th - Floyd took them and smiled.

I said when he used it early on he popped Floyds head back many times.....I seriously doubt those stats you posted are true anyway....he did'nt throw 77 jabs in the last 3 rounds.....he strayed away from it.

You guys must remember that de la hoya is 34 years old facing a prime floyd mayweather. How much did you expect oscar to bring to the fight. There is no way that a past his prime fighter will ever bring out the best in a fighter thats in his prime and as talented as floyd mayweather. Maybe if this fight happened 4 years ago it would have been more of a superfight. If that had happened I'm pretty sure floyd would have lost. The reason why I'm saying that is because he almost lost to an old past his prime de la hoya. I don't care what you floyd fans say but a split decision means you almost lost and he did. Imagine what would have happened if de la hoya was in his prime.
