No.... Manny will still be goin. Not in his prime but he'll still be fighting.
And He's got the power and speed to beat some of the future best in the division.
If you asked me in the year 2000, if GATTI could be in another war... Some guys just last.
And Pavlik is gonna be there. Im telling everyone. Im gonna bump this thread if im still on this website for some reason.
And yea, 3 middleweights is much, but after Pavlik i ran out of guys. I thought of bunch of goods ones though. Andly Lee, Paul Williams, Humberto Soto...Comment

i really dont think taylor's gonna hang around the p4p list that much longer. i dont kermit cintron is gonna climb the p4p ranks. In 3-5 years im gonna bump this thread (lol) and this is what the p4p list is gonna be like.
1.Manny Pacquioa
2.Juan Diaz
3.Chad Dawson
4.Miguel Cotto
5.Jermain Taylor
6.Andre Berto (to soon?)
7.Kelly Pavlik
8.Mikkel Kessler
9.Edison Miranda
10.Kermit Cintron
Kelly Pavlik: A lot of people asked me why he's on there. Im just really high on the kid right now. Its a biased pick, ill admit, but i really see a bright future for him. He's a breath of fresh air and really hope he gets far cause he is VERY VERY VERY good for boxing
Pacquiao is the only p4p guy i think will still be around. everyone is really old, is retired, or has promised a retirment soon.Comment

BUMP.
So we see these threads quite often and obviously they rarely get bumped to see if their predictions come true or not. I decided to do a google search and check out who people thought would be p4p right now.
Some interesting ones.
Obviously Mayweather was retired so I'll forgive that, but no one had faith in Andre Ward coming up? Surprising given he was a lone gold medallist. Lots throwing their weight behind guys like Berto, JM Lopez and Khan who have ultimately ended up bust (though Khan did sneak onto my list for a short while).
OP is hilarious with Miranda and Pavlik
luckily the majority called him out on it.

Its amazing how unpredictable this sport is. I reckon this is a pretty strong prediction for its time as well, and theres only 1 guy left on the list out of all those.
The thread is '3-5 years' is suppose

Look at Abner Mares. It was basically yesterday when people were whispering about him being on his way to a potential #1 P4P contender after Floyd is done...and now in a matter of months he could potentially be KO'd twice by a career journeyman (albeit a pretty good one).
Heck even Austin Trout after his Cotto win at MSG was getting into some discussions as a top 10 guy (or potential top 10 guy). And now two losses in a row later he's back to square one.
And of course we can't go without talking Manny Pacquiao. 9 out of every 10 boxing fans didn't count the Bradley loss against him and still had him right there with Floyd. Then he was starting to take over the JMM fight and appeared moments away from getting him out of there until he decided to lunge in with ONE SECOND left in that fateful 6th round. If he doesn't lunge in at that moment in time Manny STILL might be 1A to Floyd's 1. Instead he was damn near falling out of top 10 lists.
Things in boxing turn in the blink of an eye, man. ****'s crazy.Comment
