Iron Mike was the "Greatest That Could Have Been"....

a prime Tyson COULD beat anyone in the game today....period....The bigger guys like Wlad, or Vitali would cause him some problems with their length, but I don't see them beating him....I'm not saying Tyson would beat em like an old Larry Holmes...but I could see nasty KO's....Valuev would be a disaster....He would not survive the first round....and I dont see anyone beating him....

of course I also feel that a prime Tyson beats a prime Lewis, or Holyfield as well....

Of course anyone can fight the perfect fight...look a Buster Douglas...Tyson was off, and Douglas fought the perfect fight on the perfect night, if they fought 100 times im confident Tyson would win 99 times, but that night in Tokyo was the 1 out of 100 night....

Because Today's heavies are world class all-time greats?....

come on now...don't knock the skills because the competition was not great.

Don't forget that not everyone was convinced Tyson would beat Spinks of Holmes....Spinks was considered the real deal....

If Samuel Peter could knock Wlad down 5 times, prime Tyson would have slaughtered him easily. Both Tyson and Marciano easily clean out this division.

I say prime Tyson (like 21 yrs old) wipes the floor with 99% of the todays heavyweights. He'd KO Wlad, but might go to decision with Lewis, Holyfield, and Vitali.

yea i think mike tyson in his prime would have not much trouble takin on the top heavyweights of today. i would say the klitschkos would give a nice fight but tyson would come out ontop victorious.

The same exact way he did then, embarass them all.

What is even going on in the Heavyweight division?
The only prospects have gained, and lost their titles already. The rest of them have had their chances and couldn't gain a belt. Let's think here. Valuev did well for awhile, then lost it. The Klitschko's are a joke. Wlad is so sporadic in fights, he does well, but his "glass-jaw" always proves to be a factor, or at least a concern throughout the fight. Lamon Brewster is doing well, and his fight against Klitschko is going to be quick, I believe. A return of Andrew Golota has been talked about, but where, and who? Against a no-name from Poland, men in their 40's shouldn't make comebacks. A lot of negativity sure, but I really think heavyweights should rise back to the top, because right now, middleweight is the most exciting division.
