I wonder why Scotland hasn't produced a single world-class boxer. Is boxing unpopular there? England has several (Skelton, Haye, Hatton, Khan) and tiny Wales has at least one (Calzaghe). Ireland has a world-class up and comers (Lee) and Northern Ireland has one as well (Duddy). A country about the same size as Scotland, Armenia, has three top-level fighters (Darchinyan, Abraham and Vanes).

im from britain but i have to agree that we aint got many good fighters. the only real fighter we have is joe calzaghe, and maybe haye will one day be a top fighter. but we got so many overated bums like mitchel, arthur and many others. i dont know how far khan will go, but im not that impressed so far, he still fights like an amatuer against complete bums.

The Best they ever had was Kenny Dalglish.

I think both calzaghe & hatton are worldclass but the others have a way to go.
