Not true.. I've always liked taylor but after his comments of "ill take the fight that offers me the most money" it shows that this guy is not out there to give his fans what they are looking for and thats big fights against big names..

Ok this is the same guy that fought Hopkins twice, Wright, Ouma and Spinks, fact is Wright turned him down twice, he wanted to fight Wright, that's not his fault!

I'm pretty sure he will fight Pavlik or Calzaghe next, you guys are such a real fans to ***** about Taylor's resume, which is actually one of the best 5 fights resume's in boxing.

I'm no Taylor fan. He is nothing more at this stage of the game but an HBO protected fighter. Boxing now is such a huge cash cow to HBO and Showtime that they will do anything to protect their contracted fighters and the sanctioning organizations are about as corrupt as you can get. You can buy rankings to judges if to grease the right palm. I expected when Hopkins fought Taylor that the fix was in. You hear how you have to dramaticly beat the champion to take the title but that's only if the champion is not self-managed and can be controlled. Every close round went to Taylor and now when he loses like I believe he did against Hopkins the second time and against Winky Wright he still manages to squeak out a win or a draw. Now he only fights Jr, Middleweights and the sanctioning bodies are all silent because all that matters to them is the sanctioning fees. That is until Jermain loses favor with HBO, then they'll start getting particular. Ring magazine should do the right thing and rate him at 4-5 and put Pavlik as the #1 middleweight. After all he did fight and beat the top middleweight in a real fight and is also undefeated I might add.

So sad though I like Taylor. He needs to be more dominant..

I'm starting to question his power.... anyone with me on that one?

Boxing fans are some of the most fickle fans in sports. Probably THE most. Always ready to jump ship, claim a fighter was "overrated" after ONE bad performance (but never saying it BEFORE the fight, only after- as everyone is with Miranda now).

Spinx is a boring, terrible matchup for anyone. Even the Zab fights weren't good, except in a couple spurts when Spinks let himself relax. Spinx KNEW Taylor could stop him with one punch, he never relaxed, never engaged other than ONE counter try, or a moving jab. It's nearly impossible to be impressive against a quicker fighter who isn't trying to win, who is just trying to survive. Taylor has fought some of the toughest fighters to look good against of any current fighter, defensive fighters- Hopkins, Wright, Spinks.

It's poor matchmaking, so blame Lou Dibella. Taylor loves to ****, but Lou isn't allowing him in with anyone who will fight with him. Hopkins did late, but only when he saw Taylor had gassed. Let's wait and see if Lou will let Taylor fight Calzaghe or Pavlik. I think this entire fickle board will do a miraculous flip-flop. Win or lose, Taylor will be exciting in either of those fights. And I think he wins either, also.

I like taylor mayne... But you have to admit his last few fights been just average or less... Correct?

His power hasn't been shown in any fight. Correct?

He hasn't used the Jab since hopkins. Correct?

His fights were way closer than they should have been. Correct?

I still like him be I can't Protect him the way I did for the 1 - hopkins fights and 2 - the winky Wright fight.. 3 - and saying how Ouma has such a good chin before taylor couldn't knock him out.

Hopefully he fights plavik or calzapunk and K.O's one of them.

Talyor will not get a PPV with performances like that, and by this time and with his resume he should be headlining PPVs. He wants real money, yet he lacks the ability to make a fight an exciting one. Does he realize that the reason why DLH made so much money is because of PPVs and not purse money?

Taylor is losing fans more and more with each fight.
