Vladimir Virchis just dominated him, in their last meeting Virchris knocked him out, this time he dominated him via UD, IMO if him and Chagaev meet again he will come out victorious, the first fight was a blatant robbery, and crowd was boo'ing when the decision was announced.

I just read on a European website that today's fight between Virchis and Vidoz was not so one sided, with Vidoz winning several rounds. Although it sounded like Virchis clearly won, the scorecards tell the story of a hard fought victory, not a complete domination.
I didn't know earlier, but I could have watched this fight on my computer, it was televised by BILN. Someone who saw it says it was even closer than the scorecards indicate, 7 rounds to 5. He says that Vidoz won the last three rounds.
Did you see the fight, Parody? What you wrote about "Virchis just dominated him" contradicts what people who did see it are posting at ESB.Last edited by Steelhammer86; 05-19-2007, 06:00 PM.Comment

I've never seen Virchis fight but hear he's one of the many up-and-coming European prospects emerging on the hw stage. What does his style look like and who could you compare it to? Is any of his fights on youtube?Comment

He is a solid 6'4 245 pound fighter who has a good amatuer background...he is a slugger but can box too.

and Vidoz has a tough chin as well yet Virchis knocked him out and it was'nt even his hardest punch, Vidoz suffered a busted eardrum and an injured knee in that first fight.
Vidoz also beat Calvin Brock and Samuel Peter in amatuers, Virchris remains a dangerous puncher and is a threat.
Also he was the first man to Crack his chin, Vidoz chose to quit against Valuev because he suffered a broken jaw, Vladimir knocked him out for the count.Comment
