I dont think we will really feel a dark age of boxing like some do at the heavyweight division.
morales has that draw because of pac man, look at jmm, he turned down pac man rematch and look what happened to him? when was the last time he was in a ppv? morales will have nothing without the pub that his fight with pac man creates, u cant argue the fact that he has way more peeps watching his fights because of manny

If you were talking to me, I'm just stating my opinion. If you were talking to Darrenshyrockford, then I was still stating my opinion

              Hold up, hold up....

              Chavez Jr. is a bust..

Jones, Tyson, Hopkins are all done.

Morales, Barrera, and Pac are still fighting each other etc.

              J. Chavez, Corrales, Castillo, Campbell, etc.

              Cotto, Hatton, Mayweather, etc.

We got amazing up and coming prospects like Escobedo, Khan, Mares, etc.

The lower weights are perfect right now..

For boxing to be popular, it's ALL ABOUT THE HEAVYWEIGHTS and good middleweights don't hurt which we have..

160-175....Taylor, Lacy, Tarver, Abraham, Pavlik, Wright, Sturm, etc.

Heavyweigths are a joke, but I ain't going to lose hope, this ain't the first time this has happened to boxing...it has been worse..

Ruiz, Valuev, Rahman, Golota, Byrd = should die!

In other words, no matter how perfect the little guys are, it's the big guys that control the majority..

How many casual boxing fans have actually heard of Arce, Viloria, R. Marquez?

              Slim to none...

              Eihter way...

              LACY WILL SAVE BOXING!

and hopefully GBP save it too..

They shouldn't die, but they should retire. They aren't bad, but it's almost like... Move over now, I wanna see the next bunch. They aren't exciting or anything.

i completely agree with you man, it will prolly feel like it sucks because the new fighters are considered as not so popular because of the fighter who are retiring but once they retire people will step up definitely!

Yeah. Nobody in my school knows who Jeff Lacy is.

                      According to Scap..

Golden Boy Promotions is trying to get a contract signed for boxing on network television, Scap is a smart guy, so I will be rooting for them, too..

I actually believe that is the problem with boxing, HBO, SHOWTIME, PPV, etc. !

How many people actually have HBO and SHO?
How many people pay $50 for a fight?

                      GO GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS!
