There is a chance casual fans will forget Lennox Lewis. Remember, he said casual fans, not fanatic fans.

haha fair point I meant spend some time researching boxing rather than deliberatley trying to piss people off 'cos they dont agree with you.

rather ironic I cover boxing in journalistic capacity and you are picking my english to pieces.

really you should tho. I remember you from being on here before. seems you are quite well liked.

as for the lennox issue I totally disagree, he ruled the roost , people dont forget heavies that quickly, he is as likely to be forgotten as holmes.

i think that there will always be excitement in boxing. i have to agree with winter that alot of people have images of certain fighters and all the others have to live up to someone elses image. i think pac-man will be here for a while and that gives us plenty of time for others to come up. i just hope we get to see him fight more. the heavies have been in a slump for a while now though. however, i think that will change. remember, this is not wwe, this is boxing. we can't just create an exciting boxer. they are truely athletes that have to shed blood sweat and tears to become champ. we just need to see more activity in the heavies so we can really see what these guys are all about. trinidads return will give us some more to talk about as well. vargas is talking about coming back. even the prince has rumors circulating. even bojado with the loss against jesse james is still imo one to watch for the several years to come. kermit is still young as well. too many to mention here guys. the future still looks good to me

I agree completely. Lennox was a great champion, and will not be forgotten any time soon.
There is still plenty of young, unproven talent out there. Cotto, Taylor, Cintron, J. Diaz, Bojado, Juarez, and many, many more. It's not over for the sport; not by a long shot!
