What do you think of Andre Berto?

So far I am impressed with him. But it is way to early to tell how his career will go. When he hits the 20+ win mark, we can start to tell more about him.

I don't think I'm gonna call him a great boxer, but I don't agree with any other of your statements. His punches are a lot sharper than Jeff Lacy's and his hand speed is a lot better. Also, Andre Berto has a very good jab. Lacy did not have a world class jab, this makes a big difference.

The physical skills are there for Berto. We can only figure out the extent of his boxing skills as well as his toughness and smarts when he is tested. He is a good prospect no doubt.

He does have a great jab.....he just does'nt use it enough.

well, Vanes and Berto are 1 and 1 against each other in the amateurs.

Berto won the first fight, Vanes beat him in the rematch. Both on points.

So believe me, ive seen alot of both their fights, Berto is not as polished as you think. If anything they are at the same level and moving along at the same rate.
