What do you think of Andre Berto?

I hope a bum knocks out berto, just so I can have the last laugh on these forums by proving I was right.

I mean have you seen this guy fight? He has great handspeed, has power, and has a variety of punches. He's defense isn't the greatest at this point, but that should get better. I know he hasn't faced the best opponents yet, but Im sure that will change soon. I see him as being one of the elite in the WW division or higher in the future.

Berto punches MUCH faster then Lacy and Baldomir,Lacy and Baldomir aint never hard of a jab,and they dont know how 2 go to the body

I have only seen him once but he looked pretty damn good to me. Good combination of speed and power.

Exactly. He isn't one dimensional and can hurt somebody with any punch. The two times I have seen him he has impressed me, the only other prospect IMO that has looked as good as him has been Andy Lee.

I've heard good things about Vanes, but haven't seen him box yet. If he's anything like Vic than I can't wait to see him fight.

hes between great and average... Great potiental i would say.... I love the hype machine its good for boxing to have a up and comming prospect weather they pan out or not... cotto, judah, paul williams, taylor, lacy, david reid, and oscar wear hype a bit early some panned out some didn't but it is great that they brought attenion to boxing and made for "MEGA events' weather they were good enough or not

I think he's a great prospect from what i've seen, he has a good agressive style a great jab with good hand speed and don't forget he has awesome power which i believe is his best weapon.
