Man i love oscar de la hoya BUT

I've been off work and training all week because i was in a car crash on wed, and ive basicly watched ma Oscar and Floyd boxset's, and it seems to me a big oscar de la hoya fan, that when oscar went in a fight with the best fighters Trinidad, Shane, Bernard and Floyd he has lost, and it was the same in all of them, he looked good at the start then lost the fight on points, obv Hopkins knocked him out....he looks great against lesser fighters who have good names like JJC, Camacho,Quartey(what a fight that was)Gatti,Vargas,Campas and of course Mayorga........what do you think Oscars next move should be? because lets be honest he's not past his prime by any means, and its not like he has been in wars all his time in boxing so he still has alot left? a move down to 147? stay at 154 or take another chance at 160 now that hopkins has left?

If you don't think he was robbed the second time against Mosely, there's something totally wrong with not thinking he was robbed the second time around against Mosley. One of the biggest robberies in the history of boxing.

DLH will remembered as a great fighter no matter what the outcome. He was robbed vs Trinidad no doubt and the 2nd Mosley fight could have gone either way. The one thing you fail to mention about DLH is he fought the best, never ducked anyone and never was not in a fight. He was competative vs EVERYONE he fought.

DLH is a 6 time champ and his resume' speaks for himself. He lost to PBF, Bernard Hopkins and Mosley, not a bad group to lose to. He beat Trinidad in his prime (and yes fans will remember the truth as we do Chavez vs Whitaker) and beat every other champ available.

The one problem I saw in DLH career was he wasn't relentless. I was watching ringside the other day and it was on Sugar Ray Leonard. They showed his fight vs Robert Duran, the first one and I saw Duran do what DLH should have done vs PBF.

DLH never had that killer instinct the way other fighters have had in the past. He was too "pretty" at times and I think that hurt him in his career. Over all he will still go down as a great fighter.

he didnt beat TITO, man people "fans" can say what they want, but its always gonna be an L, its never gonna change the fact in 10000000million years, when someone looks at oscars record they will go, ohh man he got beat off Trinidad, its not gonna change facts just because some people think oscar deserved the win, maybe he did, but the judges didnt think he did and thats what really counts in boxing not what we think.

You mean what a good two rounds 6 and 12 were.

The rest of the fight was a pose-fest and a jab-a-thon, that Quartey should have won by a point.
