  • Jeff lacy

I was wondering do any of you know when and if Jeff lacy will ever come back from that injury he suffered against vitali tyspko. I was wondering because he was a really entertaining fighter with his agressive style and no defence and i would really like to see him fight again. If any of you know please tell us cheers

He is my favorite fighter too.We are from the same area.I saw him at Winghouse which is a local sports bar like a month ago and asked him when he would be back and thats what he said...."Not anytime soon".Hopefully he makes a full recovery and comes back strong in 2008.

Torn Rotator Cuff I believe. The amazing thing is it happened in the 2nd round of the fight with Tsypko and he still fought the whole fight nearly losing but still finished.Vitali Kiltchko had a very similar injury in his fight with Chris Byrd years back and quit on his stool in the 11th rd while up big on the cards. It goes to show the heart fo Jeff Lacy.......As if he did'nt show enough in his battering loss to Calzaghe.Hopefully it does'nt cost him his career tho I have heard it was quite serious and required immediate surgery and what not but I am not real familiar with that type of injury.

****, yeah, that's a bad one, usually needs surgery and sometimes it can end a sporting career and even result in a permanent disability.

Lacy is obviously a gutsy guy we saw that against Calzaghe, with hindsight he should have retired as this could end his career or at the very least stop him being the fighter he was!

It just shows how ****** people were trying to discredit Calzaghe's win over Lacy by claiming that he struggled with an inferior fighter in Tsypso. Anyone would struggle to get around let alone BOX with a torn rotator cuff.
