If Hatton is serious about fighting Mayweather, and makes a real effort to fight him, ill give Hatton a chance, i think perhaps his best option is to both Box and brawl mayweather.

The only way i see him winning this fight is if he does something mayweather doesnt expect, Mayweather is expecting 12 rounds of pressure boxing but if Hatton can mix it up, use a jab (like he against urango) move around a bit, thats a start.

He CANT try and fight mayweather at his pace, loads of fighters have fallen foul of that, Hatton shouldnt chase him, he needs to box, move out, then smother, move out, Mix it up and see how mayweather responds.

Hatton would have to get inside, stay inside, and land whatever meaningful punches he could to stand a chance. The reason he would lose to Mayweather is that hugging, his best move, would cause them to be seperated and that would be to Hatton's disadvantage. His stamina has also been suspect in his last two fights. If he's not ready to go 12 hard rounds, he'll get schooled...

Yup but Hatton has got to mix it up to get inside, if he thinks he can walk to up to mayweather in a straight line and go for the body, the fight doesnt go 12 rounds,

Hatton does have some skills, if he uses them and doesnt go gun ho, and actually backs off at time rather coming steaming in, it may suprise mayweather.

When and if this fight happens I will put every point I have on Mayweather to win convincingly. Maybe, not a Gatti performance, but damn near.

You know what, this fight can happen, it could even be floyds next fight, if hatton really wants it, it can happen,

By the way nobody has mentioned that mayweather is the man in two divisons at the moment at the same time.

If you watch the Collazo fight, you notice Hatton gets tagged by Collazo precisely for coming in straight ahead. If Collazo could do that, imagine what Mayweather would do...

Oh bro of course, i would give hatton a slight chance, but thats it, but Hatton can box a bit, seriously, i dont think its good enough to beat Floyd Mayweather, but Hatton suprised urango first 8 or so rounds by boxing him rather than steaming in.

Hatton boxing Urango is one thing. Outboxing Mayweather is another. I don't think any fighter today can outbox him...

U guys go on about his performance agaisnt Urangos of this world. Hatton wil be fit for someone like PBF. If PBF dont perform on the night than anything can happen. PBF might be in great shape but sometimes things dont go right on the night. Whether its because it just aint happening for you, or because something your opponent does that you hadnt banked for. Nothing is straightforward in this life of ours apart from death.
Be quietly confident for PBF, but no more than that.

Regardless of whether you THINK that Hatton WILL defeat Mayweather (I say it that way because there is no doubt that he CAN defeat him, anyone can depending on how the wind blows that night). There cant really be too much doubt that its one of the most interesting fights out there for PBF at the moment. So why would anyone mock the potential fight.
