i don't agree with fan man, but cotto/baldomir looks like cotto/abdullaev or cotto/n'dou or any other come forward tough guy cotto has fought. there is a clear difference in skill.

Baldomir's durability would nullify Cotto's power.
Cotto would still probably end up winning a decision though.

right, but cotto stopping him on cuts/swelling/etc like he has done so many others isn't out of the question.

cotto really beats his opponents into submission. dude has disfigured a lot of opponents.

Why fight your old uncles when you got young hungry bucks waiting for you to just say their name longer than 20 seconds. Legacy=***** with fast hands and great marathon lungs.

Thats why I seperated the paragraph to give a different response to a different poster.

I am going to put this to rest real fast, you my friend are making general assumptions, unless I mention a specific name don't assume. If I want to make a comparison to someone I am very clear on my posts. I was not comparing Malignaggi to PBF. What I did say and what my point is; that he put a bit down on Malignaggi and no one can say that Cotto would struggle against a pure boxer based on the Malignaggi fight. Is this clear enough for you? This is the reason for the mention broken eye socket and so forth (his performance vs. Malignaggi). Nothing to do with PBF. As I said earlier, I will wait to see the Judah fight before I say anything about Cotto vs. Mayweather, and then I form my opinion on Cotto vs. slick boxers.

No problem on the DLH/Tito part.

but we are talking about a guy that can take a punch. baldomir took straight shots from Judah, a verified hard hitter. but he stood tall and kept fighting. Baldomir is tough enough to take Cotto's punches and deliver his own. Would Cotto stand up?
