Cotto has hurt and knocked people down with the right hand.

What the **** is your problem? What I meant was that PR fans are such nuthuggers that even when a fighter is losing by a wide margin they fail to see that, going crazy every time he lets his hands go, whether anything lands or not. I used Tito as an example because he was the best and most popular PR fighter, and also because he was hopelessly behind in those two fights.

i give Cotto his props, he destroyed his last opponent in about half a round, but against a top tier fighter like Floyd he would literally get dismantled.
You're making **** up now. Corley rocked Mayweather too.

Yeh Cotto was hurt by those guys. That was also at 140. The guy never looked the same to me at that weight after the Pinto fight. He was a lot more sluggish. Excuses aside, those guys caught him with some very good punches but he recovered and went on to win. I think it says a lot about Torres that he won his following three fights and now holds a minor title.

Cotto brings a couple of things to the table that Floyd hasn't seen in awhile. That brutal body attack and excellent ability to cut off the ring. Even the punches that Cotto doesn't land cleanly seem to effect his opponents. Floyd may beat him quite convincingly, but a fight with Cotto is (obviously) a fight that fans want to see. Cotto is no punk, I think he can stand up to Floyd.

And as far as the Corley fight goes, Corley wasn't going anywhere fast in that round. Cotto had recovered and was causing a lot of damage. Early stoppage indeed though. That ref should have been slapped.

mf'er don't be so ****** and say "PR fans", you ****, if you're going to speak in generalities then make sure you state as much. get the ****k outta here.

i'm a PR fan and see things your way; like most nationalities, i like to view myself as bi-partisan and unbiased as possible.

clear up on speaking in generalities, not absolutes.

I'm Puerto Rican and have lived in Puerto Rico all my life, and trust me that 99% of us (PR Boxing fans) are just like I mentioned.

Floyd would beat Cotto. I know Cotto has good power and can do good body work. Besides that I'm not impressed. I think only Mosley has a chance at Floyd. Margarito, and Hatton would get beaten easily. Cotto might be a little trouble.

I can attest to this. Im one of the few, like you, who doesnt go crazy over nationality, i have my fav fighters like anyone, but i dont fall into rediculos illusions during fights. during the Tito fight, that was ****ing evident against hopkins, all the **** being talked during the fight, when all i saw was my man getting his ass kicked.
