I understand your point but how does not getting a fight made equal backing down. Mayweather had been calling out DLH for quite some time with no success but he seemed to get over it when the fight could get made. If Hatton still asked for $13 million then I would totally understand Mayweather opting to fight someone else. And honestly Trinidad couldn't make weight to fight either Cotto or Hatton so naturally I would favor him at 160. Mayweather is a more exciting, dynamic, and dangerous fighter at 147 and under so I would much rather see a match at the lower weights.

Young fighters that claim they are the best P4P, that are suposed to be trying to prove themselves at this time (unlike Oscar), that talk **** about other fighters, yet refuse to fight, this is backing down.

I agree with you somewhat and I haven't even brought Margarito into this. Hatton imo is a proven fighter and worthy to take on Mayweather. I surely favor Mayweather to win but I still want to see the fight. Cotto is still fairly unproven but if he beats Judah (and I think he will) and Margarito (I think he will) then he deserves a shot at Mayweather. I just don't want to see garbage fights against "established" but over the hill fighters (not saying DLH was over the hill but Trinidad is).
