MMA ends too early and has short rounds and it doesn't keep my intrest personally. It looks more like two dudes wrestling on a mat then fighting. While, boxing looks like two warriors going at it.

I go for both. Boxing has a lot of great athletes and top fighters but they fight against each other too rarely to really quench my thrist for combat sport. I had previously preferred Pride over UFC but UFC now owns pride. However unlike Boxing where promoters almost always protect there fighters UFC is pitting top guys against each other. Where top boxers might only have 3-4 fights versus other top guys in there entire career in MMA we have seen the top guys periodically fight each other. Pride had tournaments such as bushido and UFC has also exposed there champs to dangerous competition.

I love boxing and watch it religiously but we can all count how many REAL fights there are a year just using our fingers. Hatton vs Urango was a joke no real competition so was Cotto vs Malignagi and Urkal. Same could be said for PBF vs Mitchel, Gatti and Baldomir (Zab was a legit threat). Mean while Vanderlie has fought Cro-cop, rampage, Sakuraba, Henderson.....etc etc.

Its like MMA is going old school boxing with all the top guys fighting each other. Once again I love boxing but MMA keeps me entertained to.

MMA is not on Boxing Level.
