Good fight, the question will be if Judah can handle Cottos punching power. No doubt Judah has skills and speed over Cotto, but still Cotto has the size and power to chance the fight with only a couple of punches.

I think Cotto will stop Judah in the later rounds after a quick start from Judah and he will be ahead on points when he gets stopped. Judah sometimes loses his foucus in his fights and it looks as if he fights on "autopilot". Against Cotto that would mean bye bye.

Now that is a good post, although I think Judah may just stop Cotto, I think Cotto is in over his head with Judah, however, I also agree that both fighters have the power to stop their opponant.

In this one, I think the better "boxer" will be able to land the big shot first. That fighter is Zab in this case. I don't see Cotto bringing anything into the fight that Judah hasn't seen, from much better fighters. Cotto comes in the front door all night, and is not exactly hard to hit, Zab is quick enough to take advantage of that....

Iono... this will be his first "REAL" fight in a year... hes gonna have to run farther, and sprint in spurts... emply roger mayweather, angelo dundee and mickey goldmill... call god and ask for a favor... and hope that he can land a devastating punch... because the odds are clearly against him... Cotto has been active... and hes got a lot of rust (Ruben Galvan fight was garbage... it was practically an pro vs a shmoe)

That's one of my favorite arguments ever by the way someone made in this thread.

'Well he was winning the fight before he got stopped.'

the fight lasted 4 mineutes and some seconds.

                    FRACTION ODDS
                    M.Cotto - 1/4
                    Draw - 20
                    Z.Judah - 11/4

                    DECIMAL ODDS
                    M.Cotto - 1.25
                    Draw - 21
                    Z.Judah - 3.75

                    AMERICAN ODDS
                    M.Cotto - -400
                    Draw - +2000
                    Z.Judah - +275

These are the latest odds for ths fight. Cotto is the strong favourite. I thought it would be closer than this.

Everyone saying Cotto will go to Judah's body doesn't know jack **** about boxing. In order for Cotto to go to the body he will have to drop his hands and that will open up his VERY suspect chin against a fighter with a huge advantage in handspeed. Also Judah doesn't hit like no ***** with a very high KO%. Cotto should IMO do his best to press Zab with his jab and work his way to the ropes. Only then should he even think about going to the body. Because if he does anywhere besides the ropes Cotto will get tagged and will probably go down.

Judah's problem with Baldomir was the guy had a steel chin and could eat every punch he threw. I dont think anyone in the WW division can just KO Baldomir. Also the reason Mayweather was able to go to Judah's body was because of he had just as much handspeed AND footspeed as Judah. Add to that his natural counterpunching style and defense he was able to pick Judah apart.
